Kulung Sherpa Kyidug is a not for profit, non-political organization licensed under Federal Government of Nepal. It was formed with an aim to  preserve the language, religion, culture and tradition of Sherpa people from Kulung region which comprises of three Rural Municipalities like Mahaklung, Sotang and Dudhkoshi that includes the villages like Khiraule, Cherem, Chepel, Juge, Mamerku, Boksyor, Furche, Gaikharka etc.

Our objectives:

KSK is a not for profit and non-political organization purely for the welfare of people

To protect and enhance the culture, language, social values, and religion of the Kulung Sherpa Community from remote villages of Solukhumbu 

To support financial, social, educational development of the community from the villages in Solukhumbu as well as other districts currently living in Kathmandu 

To conduct various activities to preserve the language, tradition, and culture of the community

To support the poor family in the community by providing better education and vocational training by organizing various fundraising events

To provide awareness about education, health and cleanliness leading to maintaining the environmental balance. 

To provide financial and material support to the family badly affected in natural disaster

To implement the objective of the organization by exchanging knowledge and experience in coordination with person, national and international organizations having a common objective
