Objectives

  • KSK is a not for profit and non-political organization purely for the welfare of people
  • To protect and enhance the culture, language, social values, and religion of the Kulung Sherpa Community from remote villages of Solukhumbu 
  • To support financial, social, educational development of the community from the villages in Solukhumbu as well as other districts currently living in Kathmandu 
  • To conduct various activities to preserve the language, tradition, and culture of the community
  • To support the poor family in the community by providing better education and vocational training by organizing various fundraising events
  • To provide awareness about education, health and cleanliness leading to maintaining the environmental balance. 
  • To provide financial and material support to the family badly affected in natural disaster
  • To implement the objective of the organization by exchanging knowledge and experience in coordination with person, national and international organizations having a common objective
