Covid-19 Insurance for all members

As per the decision of the Central Executive Committee Meeting held in Boudha on 1st June 2020, all the members of Kulung Sherpa Society and their respective spouses, all living in Nepal physically, as applicable are secured with Covid-19 Insurance worth about NRs11,450,000/-. This insurance doesn’t cover any of our members residing out of Nepal due to the terms of the policy which says that insurance policy cannot be issued for anyone living out of Nepal. Given the growing no of COVID cases in Nepal recently, we rest assured that our members will have the means to support themselves in the unlikely situation of any of our members or their spouse contracting the virus, which we all hope doesn’t happen at all. The policy is valid for one year from 4 June 2020 till 3 June 2021.
